My iPad keyboard does not work with Typing Pal. What can I do?

Apple’s new Smart Punctuation feature automatically substitutes some forms of punctuation with typographically suitable equivalents (for example, "straight" quotation marks are replaced with “smart” quotation marks).

Typing Pal will not recognize these characters.

You can disable this feature by going to Settings > General > Keyboards > Smart Punctuation.
